Honda Odyssey Crash Victims on SR-18 Identified After Fatal Head-On Collision
Pinon Hills, CA – May 9 — Authorities have identified the three people who were killed in a head-on crash on State Route 18 in Pinon Hills on Saturday night, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Coroner Division. The victims were identified as 58-year-old Javier Hernandez Ramirez of Pacoima, 51-year-old Marisela Orozco of Pacoima, and 18-year-old Alfredo Orozco of Covina. The fatal collision occurred at approximately 8:10 p.m. on eastbound SR-18, east of Minero Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. Investigators said a black Jeep Wrangler was traveling westbound on SR-18 when it crossed into the eastbound lanes and collided head-on with a silver Honda Odyssey. Authorities reported that all three victims became trapped inside the Honda Odyssey following the impact. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and worked to extricate the occupants from the heavily damaged vehicle.
