Pacoima, CA (October 19, 2025) – Authorities have identified the pedestrian killed in a tragic hit-and-run collision Sunday night as 53-year-old Juan Villegas Martinez, a resident of Pacoima. The fatal crash occurred around 10:00 p.m. in the 13200 block of Van Nuys Boulevard, where Martinez was walking when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver involved in the incident fled the scene without stopping to render aid or contact authorities. Emergency responders arrived and attempted life-saving measures, but Martinez was pronounced deceased at the scene.

October 19, 2025 – Pacoima, CA – A pedestrian was fatally struck Sunday night in a hit-and-run collision in Pacoima, authorities say. The victim has been identified as 53-year-old Juan Villegas Martinez. 

The crash occurred at approximately 10:00 p.m. in the 13200 block of Van Nuys Boulevard. Martinez was crossing the intersection near Ralston Avenue when he was struck by a white 2008 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck traveling southbound. The driver fled the scene without rendering aid.
