Lenayah King Killed, Three Others Injured in Klamath County Crash
Klamath County, OR, June 16 – One person was killed, and three others were injured in a two-vehicle collision Tuesday morning at the intersection of Highway 39 and Highway 140, according to the Oregon State Police. Authorities said the crash occurred at approximately 11:21 a.m. near milepost 2 on Highway 39. Investigators reported that Fatima Abrica Torres, 38, of Merrill, was driving a white Kia Sedona southbound on Highway 39. At the same time, Lenayah Priscilla King, 71, of Bonanza, was stopped at a stop sign on Highway 140 in a silver Chrysler PT Cruiser. According to the Oregon State Police, King attempted to make a left turn onto Highway 39 to travel northbound but failed to yield to the southbound Kia, resulting in a collision between the two vehicles.
