Major Injuries Reported in Five-Vehicle Crash Involving Two Semis in Solano County
Solano County, CA – June 24 — Several people were injured, including at least one person with major injuries, in a multi-vehicle crash involving two semi-trucks on Tuesday afternoon in Solano County, according to the California Highway Patrol. The collision was reported at approximately 12:09 p.m. on June 23 on the connector ramp from westbound State Route 37 to southbound State Route 29. Preliminary reports indicated the crash involved two semi-trucks and three passenger vehicles. Responding officers later confirmed that a total of five vehicles were involved in the collision. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene following reports of heavily damaged vehicles and multiple injured occupants. According to CHP dispatch logs, the crash involved injuries ranging from minor to major. Authorities have not yet released the number of patients transported to hospitals or the extent of each victim’s injuries.
