One Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Highway 41 Near Highway 145 in Madera County
Madera County, CA – June 26 — A man was killed following a motorcycle collision on Friday evening in Madera County, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash occurred at approximately 8:01 p.m. on June 19 on northbound Highway 41, north of Highway 145. According to investigators, a 19-year-old man from Fresno was driving a 2011 Mercedes E350 northbound on Highway 41 when he reportedly pulled onto the right shoulder with the intention of making a U-turn. As the driver attempted the turn, the Mercedes was struck by a 2014 Harley-Davidson motorcycle operated by an 86-year-old man from North Fork. Authorities said the impact ejected the motorcyclist from the motorcycle.
