Stranded Driver Killed in Multi-Vehicle Collision in Talmadge
San Diego, CA – May 22 — A woman was killed in a chain-reaction crash involving three vehicles Wednesday night in San Diego’s Talmadge neighbourhood, according to the San Diego Police Department. The fatal collision occurred at approximately 10:05 p.m. in the 4900 block of Fairmount Avenue. Authorities said the woman was sitting inside a disabled Toyota Camry stopped in the southbound No. 2 lane with its hazard lights activated when the crash occurred. Investigators reported that another driver attempted to swerve around a vehicle before striking the disabled Camry, triggering a three-vehicle chain-reaction collision. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and found the woman suffering from fatal injuries. She was pronounced dead following the crash.
