Teen Killed, Three Others Injured in Graduation Shooting Outside Fairfield High School
Fairfield, CA, June 3 – An 18-year-old man was killed, and three other people were injured when gunfire erupted following a high school graduation ceremony Wednesday evening in Fairfield, authorities said. According to Fairfield police, the shooting occurred shortly after 7:00 p.m. in the parking lot of Fairfield High School at 205 East Atlantic Avenue. The violence broke out after a commencement ceremony for Sem Yeto Continuation High School. Police said the 18-year-old victim suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity. Three additional victims, ages 11, 20, and 25, were wounded in the shooting and transported to a hospital for treatment. Officials have not provided updates on their conditions.
