Oakland, CA – May 16 —  Three people were killed, and three others were injured in a pedestrian collision Saturday night in Oakland, according to the Oakland Police Department. The incident occurred at approximately 11:15 p.m. at the intersection of International Boulevard and 85th Avenue. Investigators said a driver was travelling northbound on 85th Avenue at a high rate of speed before attempting to turn west onto International Boulevard. During the turn, the vehicle struck multiple pedestrians in the area. Authorities confirmed that three pedestrians died as a result of the collision. Three additional victims sustained injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
