Tustin, CA – 19-year-old Imanol Salvador Gonzalez tragically lost his life in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident early Saturday morning.According to Tustin police, the fatal collision occurred around 3:57 a.m. near Nisson Road and Del Amo Avenue. Officers who responded to reports of the accident found Gonzalez lying on the road.Police determined that the victim had been struck by a black 2021 Chevy Silverado crew cab pickup truck. Gonzalez was pronounced dead at the scene.The driver, identified as 40-year-old Carlos Coronel of Buena Park, fled the scene. He was later located, arrested, and booked into the Orange County Jail. Additional details about the incident have not been released. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
