Two Men Identified After Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on Crenshaw Boulevard in Hyde Park

Hyde Park, CA, July 10 – Authorities have identified the two men who were killed in a multi-vehicle collision Friday morning in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office, the victims were 32-year-old Sergio Hill and 35-year-old Alvaro Castillo Jr. The fatal crash was reported at approximately 10:45 a.m. in the 7700 block of Crenshaw Boulevard near South Victoria Avenue. Investigators with the Los Angeles Police Department said a BMW was traveling northbound on Crenshaw Boulevard when it crashed into a Toyota Camry that was stopped in the left-turn lane. The Camry was preparing to turn left from Crenshaw Boulevard onto westbound 78th Street at the time of the collision.

Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on Interstate 10 Near Hoover Street in Los Angeles

A motorcyclist was injured in a traffic collision on Interstate 10 in Los Angeles after a crash involving a passenger vehicle near the Hoover Street interchange. The accident occurred Wednesday afternoon, prompting a response from emergency personnel and causing traffic delays along one of Southern California’s busiest freeways.

According to preliminary reports, the collision occurred at approximately 4:29 p.m. on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 near Hoover Street. Emergency responders, including officers from the California Highway Patrol, firefighters, and paramedics, were dispatched after receiving reports of a motorcycle crash involving a black Scion.

Upon arrival, first responders located the injured motorcyclist and immediately began providing emergency medical care. The rider was transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation and treatment.
