Fresno, CA, June 30, 2025 – An 86-year-old woman tragically died following a head-on collision in Fresno on Sunday afternoon, June 30, according to local authorities. The crash occurred around 12:35 p.m. in the 5900 block of Butler Avenue, just west of Fowler Avenue. Initial reports indicate that two vehicles collided head-on under circumstances still under investigation. Emergency personnel responded to the scene and attempted life-saving measures on the elderly woman. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not yet been released pending family notification.
