Citrus Heights, CA – January 18- Authorities have identified the woman who died after a single-vehicle crash involving a utility pole early Sunday morning in Citrus Heights. According to the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office, the victim was identified as 33-year-old Mia Miskic of Fair Oaks. The collision was reported just before 2 a.m. near the intersection of Greenback Lane and Dewey Drive. Officials with the Citrus Heights Police Department said Miskic was driving an SUV when she lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a utility pole. Officers arrived shortly after the crash and attempted life-saving measures after finding her unconscious inside the vehicle. Fire crews with Sacramento Metro Fire responded to the scene and transported Miskic to a hospital. Despite medical efforts, she was later pronounced dead.
